Jean-Louis Gillet, MAC, LIC AC, MOM

Jean-Louis’ first teacher was professor Paul Nuong from Vietnam, who was faculty and owner of the Oriental Medical Hospital in Cho-Lon, Vietnam, and Zen Buddhist monk all of his life.

He received apprentice training in oriental medicine and acupuncture (Chinese herbs and formulas) as he was finishing high school and going into college.

From 1973 to 1975, he attended Melbourne College of Chinese Medicine in Australia and supervised 1st-year students in order to pay for his tuition.

From 1988 to 1992 Jean Louis attended the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he received his Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine and acupuncture.

During his trips to France between 1986 and 1995 Jean-Louis had been receiving training on laser acupuncture. In 2004 he started treating patients with low-level cold lasers. He has continued his training with lasers since then and now uses near-infrared laser on his patients.
