Emma Garre

Emma Garre, PT, DPT

Emma is a Bozeman native.  Growing up in such a beautiful place instilled in her a passion for the community, outdoors, and physical activity.  All together they led her to pursue her career as a physical therapist and they keep her excited to continue working in the field.

Emma earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from Montana State University and went on to graduate school at the University of Vermont to earn her doctorate of physical therapy in May 2013.

She has a wide variety of interests within the physical therapy field including: alternative therapies, postural restoration, yoga, pelvic floor/women’s health, chronic pain, sports performance, neuromuscular conditions, myofascial release, and pediatrics.  She likes to examine the whole body to find the root of the problem and enjoys treating as such; utilizing her knowledge and training in Postural Restoration Institute, manual therapy techniques, yoga, kinesiotape, and dry needling.

She holds certifications as a Kinetacore FDN Level 1 Dry Needling, Kinesiology Taping Practioner (Rocktape), and Yoga instructor.  Additionally, she is working toward and hopes to become a Postural Restoration Institute certified therapist.

Emma enjoys the outdoors and being active with her family and dog: downhill and cross country skiing, running, hiking, rock climbing, yoga, and participating in obstacle course races (OCR).  She is also a new mom, which though exhausting, is one of her favorite roles yet!
