Anna Collins, PT

Anna was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. She started working in the medical field at the age of seventeen as a certified nurse’s assistant. She quickly became interested in physical rehabilitation helping both the physical therapists and the occupational therapists at the hospital. As an exchange student at Helena High School in the 1980’s Anna discovered the serenity and beauty of Montana. After finishing her associate degree in liberal arts at Rudbeck’s College she transferred to University of Montana.

While attending the University Anna worked as a P.T. and O.T. aide to gain additional training. She graduated from the University of Montana in 1996 with a bachelor of science in physical therapy. Internships included acute care at Harrison Memorial in Seattle, orthopedic/neurological rehabilitation at Providence Yakima Memorial Center, in Yakima, Washington and Neuro rehabilitation at Community Medical Center in Missoula , MT.

Anna moved back to Helena in 1999 and she has been specializing in orthopedic physical therapy using the McKenzie (Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment) to get patients better quicker.

Anna is a certified mechanical spine and joint therapist from the McKenzie Institute of New Zealand and she was credentialed in 2004
